Hey everybody! I'm currently on tour with MJ LIVE in CHICAGO! MJ Live is a Las Vegas show at the Tropicana and they do weekend tours. I got to go on the Chicago one and let me say its fun! Read more about what I get to do and how cold it is here right now!
So right now I'm just hanging out in the dressing room and in about a hour and a half we will all be on stage! I love the MJ live cast everyone is positive and funny it makes these long hour go by quick. We are currently in a 100 year old theater which we think is haunted! Fun stuff right ... As the door randomly opens and lights flicker. The theater is called Long Center for the Performing Arts here in Lafayette. Tonight we take a bus to Chicago to perform Saturday at the Rosemont Theatre which is only 27 years old. But both are beautiful.
It's SNOWING! Which as you know I'm from Vegas its warm there and we dont ever get snow. So when we landed and I saw the snow flakes falling I was so excited. Its freezing though! We are walking to places since our hotel is across the street and there's plenty of food options across the street but man is it cold! This morning at 9am there was a small blizzard! I woke up and looked out my window and there was so much snow falling and the wind going. But my gosh it was gorgeous, I absolutely love the look of snow!
On our trip we get to go eat and walk around and shop. They give us some food money for show days which is nice. Yesterday when we landed we had a hour long bus ride to the hotel. Then after we settled we decided to go get Dinner and ended up at "THE GOAT"! It was fun we laughed danced and ate we were the only ones in the place. Lets just say when you put 8 dancers and 6 Techs and Musicians together we can get pretty loud! After that me and a 2 others went back to the hotel and the rest went to a bar. I'm not old enough for that yet. I chilled in the hotel which i get my own room in and slept like a baby.
I hope you like this small update its time to do our show! It's the same show as Vegas just with an added talking scene. Time to dance our butts off and make the crowd go wild! Wish me Luck! In the theater business that means you say "Break a Leg" and no I won't actually.
